Tom claims no particular ability in garden design, although he does know good design when he sees it. When he first met Rosemary he was designing management systems for large and very complex international companies. In this role his ability to “see the wood for the trees” was crucial.
Using this skill, Tom has broken down Rosemary’s gardening knowledge and design techniques into a series of easily understood topics, which make up our garden design course. For each topic, he has further separated the essential principles, which are discussed during the course, from the detailed information which is only required at the point of garden design. This detail is presented in the carefully structured and easy to use notes for the topic, and does not require to be memorised during the course.
